No. 769 PANHARD / ALFA ROMEO PAUL MENISSIER SPECIAL
1959, chassis number: 635926 (delivered as 6040AT3), until 2013 in France. Panhard Special Paul Menissier, Menissier was a Citroen dealer in the south of France. Among other things, Menissier's car was entered twice in the Course de Cote du Pin race between 1960 and 1962. Menissier had originally installed an Alfa Romeo "Twin Cam" engine, but the racing car, which was currently equipped with a Ford 4-cylinder engine, was fitted by Menissier with a mid-engine and front-wheel drive. The ingenious concept provided an ideal balance between weight and direct power to the front axle. The streamlined body is supported by a modified Panhard Dyna X chassis and was fitted with an advanced rear suspension with coil springs. Menissier modified the front end after his first races and made it even more aerodynamic, presumably to squeeze a few more km/h out of the car...an exceptional barn find with a beautiful patina.

No. 770 MONTEVERDI
1979, Chassis with engine and axles, Monteverdi prototype "Military 230-M", Peter Monteverdi developed a light off-road vehicle according to the specifications of the Swiss Army. Based on the Monteverdi Sahara, Monteverdi and the coachbuilder "Carrozzeria Fissore" developed an off-road vehicle with flat body panels, exposed hinges and high ground clearance. The vehicle was designed with simplicity and practicality in mind. The vehicle had a tarpaulin roof and removable fabric doors for quick conversion depending on operational requirements. The interior was reduced to the essentials and offered space for 4 occupants. The rear seats and storage compartments could be adapted for the transportation of freight and additional equipment. The coach offered here stood in the Monteverdi Museum in Basel-Binningen until it was broken up and still has the exhibition sign on the radiator front.
