1890-1950, collection of driver glasses with all in all 35 very rare items, this beautiful collection was collected over 35 years and at the desire of the consignor it should be preserved as complete collection, the offered pair of glasses are mainly from the '20s and '30s and are supplied with a tricot-jersey-silk net for air vent and a tension spring for better fit , as coating was mostly used the velvet-like chenille, the first shatterproof glasses are made of celluloid and were maunfactured from 1887, among the offered pair of glasses are pair of glasses by the companies Ratti, a very early women's glasses with toned glass with metal lattice basket, early driver glasses with threaded coupling for changing the glasses, one '30s glass, feather-net mask, a '20s protektor pair of glasses with celluloid glasses and fur mask inside, a '50s racing driver pair of glasses laminated glass with sun protection, aviator resp. driver glasses (World War II) splinter protection 75% Ultrasin toned, a very early pair of rain glasses(leather mask brown…etc., very nice collection, ideal as exhibits for a museum or also for the private collection
