Model car, scale 1:8, Sauber C9 Mercedes - Le Mans winner 1989. Exceptionally detailed large-scale model of the legendary Le Mans winning car from 1989, driven by Mass, Reuter & Dickens. This museum collector's item was made from over 7,000 individual parts; the body is made entirely of metal, the front and rear sections are removable, the wheels can be steered and dismantled and the doors can be opened.Between 1994 and 1997, only 13 examples were built by a German model-making team - no further examples have appeared on the market for over 20 years. The selling price at the time was 28,500 DM (approx. €15,000 / US$20,000). The model measures approx. 61 cm in length and weighs around 7 kg. Its attention to detail, complexity and rarity make it one of the most impressive and exclusive Mercedes and Le Mans models ever.

Sauber C9 Mercedes front clip (nose) Sauber C9 - the same vehicle type as the 1989 Le Mans winning car. This impressive component measures approx. 96 x 180 x 63 cm (D x W x H) and is comparatively light despite its size.Made of carbon fiber and aluminum, this piece was discovered in "race used" condition. A new race number sticker "#1" was applied over the original, heavily used one. Otherwise, the front clip presents itself in excellent "as raced" condition. (There is also a "#63" sticker to optionally represent the Le Mans winning configuration).It is highly likely that this part was used in 1989 and later used again in 1990 at Suzuka with the starting number #1.An exceptional and authentic piece of Mercedes Benz motorsport history.
