Collection from the estate of Philippe Etancelin, including bronze Pierre Levegh plaque, design by Ernest Diosy (who also designed identical plaques / reliefs for racing drivers such as Robert Benoist, Jean-Pierre Wimille...); program booklet 24 Hours of Le Mans 1955; list of participants Le Mans 1955; 6 newspapers with reports on the tragic accident at Le Mans "Le Maine / Dimanche / Le Fiagro / France-Soir", b/w photos. The 24 Hours of Le Mans 1955 is considered the most tragic event in motorsport history. During the race on June 11, 1955, there was a serious accident when Pierre Levegh's car was thrown into the crowd after a collision. Over 80 people and the driver himself died, and hundreds were injured.

Etancelin won the race as a private driver in an Alfa Romeo Tipo Monza (#2211097), ahead of Jean-Pierre Wimille and Raymond Sommer, also in an Alfa Romeo Tipo Monza. Etancelin was allowed to keep the trophy for his third victory at the Gand Prix de la Marne, including the daily newspaper with race report "L'Eclaire de L'Est". Museum quality

1927, original winner's trophy Coppa Florio Saint Brieuc 1927, estate of Philippe Etancelin, trophy for the class victory 1500-2000cc, Etancelin on Bugatti T35, 5th place in the overall standings. The race was won by Sabipa in a Bugatti. Bronze plaque on a marble base, designed by Robert Delandre Anglais. The collection also includes the participant medal donated by the newspaper "Offert par L'Quest - E'Clair"; b/w photo; copy of regulations; copy of newspaper clipping, and stamp "Bretagne Saison 1927 Coupe Florio"

1928, Winner's trophy Grand Prix Bugatti Circuit de la Sarthe Le Mans June 24, 1928, bronze trophy on marble, design (Roger), shield with engraving "Honneur aux Sports". Base with ACO emblem and copper plaque engraved "Grand Prix", height 54 cm, weight 3.7 kg. Philippe Etancelin won the first elimination race on Bugatti T35, in his 1500cc class, with a total time of 43m.02.0 over 6 laps. In the final race, Etancelin had to retire early due to problems with his spark plugs. The overall victory went to André Dubonnet in a Bugatti T37. The lot contains 6 b/w photographs of the trophy, newspaper reports from "L'Auto" and "Journal de Rouen" with reports on the race, as well as a copy of the results list, museum quality
