Scuderia Ferrari Drinking Glass – 1957 Gran Premio del Venezuela, a rare glass from the estate of Romolo Tavoni, then Director of Racing at Scuderia Ferrari. A gift personally presented by Enzo Ferrari to commemorate the historic one-two finish by the Ferrari 335 S at the Gran Premio del Venezuela in Caracas on November 3, 1957. Peter Collins and Phil Hill won in the Ferrari 335 S chassis 0700, ahead of their teammates Mike Hawthorn and Luigi Musso in the Ferrari 335 S chassis 0674. Just nine days later, on November 12, 1957, Comm. Enzo Ferrari personally presented this drinking glass to Romolo Tavoni and another one to Mino Ferrari-Amorotti as a memento of this significant success. The drinking glass features the historic Scuderia Ferrari crest in the Italian national colors around its circumference and was designed by Eleanor von Neumann. The glass is accompanied by a slip of paper with typewritten text on both sides. The front documents the occasion for the gift, while the back confirms the personal presentation by Enzo Ferrari to Romolo Tavoni (Direttore Sportivo) and Mino Ferrari-Amorotti (Direttore Tecnico) on November 12, 1957.

About his blood sugar level... The drive from Modena to Monaco and back, and his onward journey to Lausanne, where Joakim Bonnier was inaugurating an art gallery... Test drives in Paris and the drive to Zandvoort for the Dutch Grand Prix. Highly interesting background information on the race procedure, the post-race farewell from the race director, etc., the handling of the Ferrari 156; he also mentions here that Ginther, thanks to his experience as a test driver and mechanic, has the better car and has also been permanently assigned a car as a works driver, Trips says here that Hill and he aren’t quite sure yet how to handle it or deal with it...unpublished!! A rarity
