mixed lot of 1754 blueprints Lancia (Ferrari) D50, c. 70 % are original (partially Scuderia Ferrari) with copies, complete vehicle, this plans were used for the reconstruction of all in all 5 racing cars , among the first owner were Bernie Ecclestone, Tom Wheatcroft and Guido Rosani, the Lancia D50 was for the first time used at the Grand Prix of Spain 1954, Alberto Ascari reached the best time in the training and started from the pole-position, but in the race he had a break down, in 1955 Ascari won early in the season two Formula-1-races in Italy that weren't counted for the world championship, in Monaco he was leading with his D50 before he had an accident at the harbor, the death of Ascari at a private test drive in the Autodromo Nazionale Monza and problems with the budget were the reason that Lancia sold the Lancia racing devision to Enzo Ferrari, the D50 racing car was sold too, the Scuderia Ferrari used the revised vehicles in the automobile world championship 1956 as Ferrari D50 , Juan Manuel Fangio won with it his fourth world championship
