11.01.1963, original Ferrari dealership agreement between Luigi Chinetti Motors Inc. and A.A. Garthwaite Jr. (in cooperation with Speedcraft Enterprises (Otto Linton)). The document defines the future sales territory for Algar Enterprises Inc., which included the eastern half of Pennsylvania, the state of Delaware and the southern part of New Jersey. The document also includes dealer and retail pricing for Ferrari models such as the 4-liter 2+2 (Ferrari 330GT 2+2) and the 3-liter series (Ferrari 250GT), as well as a detailed delivery schedule for the first five cars. In 1972, Chinetti and Garthwaite founded the joint import company "Chinetti-Garthwaite Imports", which officially took over the import of Ferraris for the entire eastern part of the USA. This document is a rare primary source on the early Ferrari distribution history in the USA.

This letter confirms the appointment of Algar Enterprises Inc. as an official Ferrari authorized and service dealer for the calendar year 1964. The document covers the designated sales territory, the eastern half of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the State of Delaware and the southern portion of New Jersey. The appointment was initially limited until December 31, 1964, with the possibility of an extension by mutual agreement. Signed by Sanford A. Feingold on behalf of Luigi Chinetti Motors. This letter marks the formal basis on which Algar Ferrari of Phiadelphia was able to develop into one of the most important Ferrari dealerships in the USA.

This document shows debit and credit entries made by Luigi Chinetti Motors in the period 1972-1974 and thus documents payments made and still outstanding for all Ferrari vehicles, spare parts, credit notes and warranty services from Luigi Chinetti Motors Inc. The document has been completed by hand and shows an outstanding amount of 3,495,626 lire. Such an account statement was used internally by Ferrari for control and reconciliation purposes, while externally this document was important for Chinetti in order to reconcile its own books and, if necessary, to initiate payments. An important contemporary document which documents the direct business relationship between Ferrari and Chinetti.
