 '40s/'50s, autographed private photo album by Otto Zaiser, family member of the owner of the famous "3 Glocken"- pasta factory in Weinheim, Otto Zaiser was enthusiastic motor sport fan and personal friend of Alfred Neubauer, Hermann Lang and Wilhelm Sebastian, the photo album consists of 86 pages with 390 original photos, beside interesting family photos it contains photos of the Grand Prix of Switzerland 1949, of the "Freiburg- Schauinsland Bergrennen" 1949, training and race of the Mille Miglia 1952, Nürburgring sports car racing 1952 with the Mercedes-Benz 300SL racing car, Grand Prix of Germany 1953 and photos of different German races in the late '40s, pictured are among others personalities like Alfred Neubauer, Hermann Lang, Manfred von Brauchitsch, Stirling Moss, Norman Dewis, Juan Manuel Fangio, Paul Frère, Clemente Biondetti, Karl Kling, Hermann Gablenz (German motorbike racing driver), Rudolf Uhlenhaut, Dr. Ferdinand Porsche (on a small photo of the Grand Prix Monaco in the '30s), Paul Pietsch, Graf von Berckheim Giovanni Bracco and Renzo Castagneto, furthermore the album contains photos of Wilhelm and Ludwig Sebastian, former Auto-Union-mechanic, outside of the VW-workshop and some photos of members of the "Allgemeinen Schnauferl Clubs" in the Daimler-Benz-Museum, in addition the album contains a typed letter from February 11th 1958 by Alfred Neubauer to Otto Julius Zaiser about the common visit of the "Allgemeinen Schnauferl-Clubs" in the Daimler-Benz-Museum, letter with the original signature of Neubauer, with a Mille Miglia- postcard from 1952, signed by Alfred Neubauer, Hermann Lang, Karl Kling, Hans Klenk, Eugen Grupp and one more unknown person, with a dedication by Neubauer from March 5th 1952 regarding the training of Daimler-Benz for the Mille Miglia, slightly damaged back of book, otherwise good condition, wonderful unique specimen, a fascinating look behind the sceneries of a great era
